“We’ve had a large water leak because this plug wasn’t popped out upon installation. Has gone down through our walls and into the basement. I’ve now drilled holes into it myself to allow drainage. I sent them this exact picture before agreeing to have them come. They told me they showed their manager and he said that the plug may or may not be their fault and that if it is their fault they’d repair everything. And if not I’d get charged $130. I thought, there’s no way they’d send someone out if the plug wasn’t their fault. Wouldn’t they just respond to my picture and say “this is the plumbers fault” before coming out and charging me $130? No… they wanted to make some money. So they sent someone all the way out to tell me that the plug wasn’t their fault and that its the plumbers thing. And that they’d like to charge me the $130 for coming out. With smaller hvac businesses you don’t have this kind of issue. They’ll always just look at the picture you text them and tell you whether or not it’s their fault. Method is a larger company though so they’re able to get away with it.”
